Last week I began teaching my very first six-week class on “The ways of God” by Henry Blackaby. He’s a great author and I’ve read several of his books in the past. My class is small and I like it this way for several reasons. First, it allows for more personal interaction. I’m able to tailor my examples to the individuals in the room. Second, I think having a small class is a great start. As I get my feet wet (beyond teaching bible study) I’m learning exactly what it takes to teach a class on this scale. Thirdly, I’m back in school with a 3-course load and this makes it manageable. Having said that I’m still excited, yet humbled to have been given the opportunity. Here’s to the weeks ahead!
