Prayer over me

Celebrating with a few ladies from church
This past Sunday (January 6th) I received my minister’s license. I am now Minister Yevette. LOL! It was the most humbling experience ever. To say that I am happy would be an understatement. Before the day was over I’d already emailed a ministry proposal to my Pastor. It was partially prepared already.
Now as I move forward reality sets in. The work and expectation is that much more demanding. Also, the commitment needed to study and prepare will require more as well. However, I am ready and willing. This has been years in the making. Seven years of turmoil in order to prepare for this time. Now I find myself sharing the trials I’ve endured in the storm with others. In order to help them where they are as well.
So whats next for the rookie? There are several things that I am considering. First, is participating in the women’s ministry. Second, I will further the proposal that was given in order to assist the other leaders. And third, I will commit to writing and submitting a magazine article for publication each month. This will require more work than I realized as I read various submission requirements from various ministry websites.
How awesome! Congratulations! You’ll do great
Thank You!
I’m so happy for you! It got me excited when I read this! You go girl!
Thanks!
A wondeful accomplishment, May God always bless you abundantly with His love and grace! Much love to you my dear sister! I am proud of you!
I appreciate it.
Congratulaions Minister Yevette!!!
I read into your words a sense of awe at releif and minor overwhelm at whats ahead. I could very well be wrong but it brought to mind a saying I used to rely on…
Don’t be afraid of tomorrow, God is already there waiting for you.
Glad I was along even for a small part of this journey.
Very insightful and the quote is wonderful. Thanks!
